Saturday Photo Hunt - Curvy
This weeks PhotoHunt theme is CURVY and I was tempted to post a picture of myself, as that is what I am. Instead I have posted a picture that I took on this walk Baslow Edge.
These stones were all over the place and I just couldn't think what they were, so a little research later i found out they were in fact abandoned Mill Stones.
This is because this area was quarried for the stone to make them and they were probably abandoned due to breakage during the process. So this one could be hundreds of years old.
It also could of been used for this other uses.
