Colon cleanse for Christmas?

Whats on your Christmas List this year? A colon cleanse is not something that immediately springs to mind. Well unless you are into that kind of thing?
Several people have recommended them to me, as they are meant to get rid of that horrible bloated feeling. I am just not sure about having a tube stuck up there? I have illustrated the process in the above cartoon, its very accurate.

What to do you think?

  2. I think I'll pass.

I haven't been visiting lately, things have been so crazy for the past few months but I'm back and hopefully visiting more often.

  3. Colon juice? Hope not to see that in a health food store anytime soon. You are SO descriptive...
I had a chiropractor that insisted I try a coffee enema. I found another chiro!

  4. Charming, Claire.
Does it come with a ribbon?

  5. Um, ew! Why not just eat more fiber? That's better than having a tube stuck up you butt. ;)

  6. Claire, You shouldn't let that be done even to a stick figure.

  9. Someday I shall have to sit you down and explain the whole "colon cleansing process" to you! As "cute" as your drawing is, that's just not the way it's done! Not that I'm an expert, mind you, but I did have to have a colonoscopy once - just once!

  10. OH. GOOD. LORD! You really are crazy, Claire!
Trust me - and Linda -that definitely is not exactly the right way to portray a colon cleansing! I feel somewhat of on expert on this topic having had at least 8 of those "cleansings" done over the past four years and they are not fun things, not in the least! A colonoscopy itself is a walk in the park compared to the day to two days prior while you are doing the "cleansing" and to Joeprah's comment about the "brown juice" -what did you expect it to look like anyway?

  12. Um...no thanks. I'll just cleanse the old system the old fashioned way...which generally involves a toilet and toilet paper.
