Manic Monday: Crisp

Hello and welcome to Manic Monday! This weeks theme is CRISP, i am not going to dwell to long on the fact over here a crisp is what you over the pond call a potato chip and that's just plain wrong!
Instead when i think of CRISP, i think of the crisp mountain air that you breathe in once you get to the top and see views like this:

This is a shot of Buttermere and i wasn't quite at the top yet but already the views were worth the hard hard slog to get up there! There will be more photos when i post about the weekend, it really wasn't hard to get a nice shot as everywhere looked so nice!

“Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So... get on your way.” Dr Seuss.

  1. Too early to put mine up yet on "this side of the pond" but it will be up by the morrow.

That really is a gorgeous view. Makes one understand better why you so much like climbing up the sides of mountains and hills!

  5. As Dr. Seuss might say in his Green Eggs and Ham Book, “Would you could you on this mountain terrain? The view is so pretty, I don’t think you could refrain. Eat them, try them and you will see, there is not a lovelier place to have Ham and Eggs with Me.” It is a wonderful shot. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

  6. Definitely gotta go with the flow here - agree wholeheartedly with everyone else's comments on the beauty of that scenery and the great job you did in capturing it on film. Kudos, Kid!

  9. Nice view! (And being from the other side of the pond I've never heard the term crisp being used/substituted for chip.)

But then, I don't get out much either.

Looks like Carey Elwes should be rolling down the side of the hill going "As - you - wiiiiiish!"
