The New Year is fast approaching.

Well tomorrow is New Years Eve and that means one thing to a lot of people. The year is over? No, its booze time. I have never been a big fan of going out on New Years Eve, its always too much hype and too many idiots. I have normally ended up at one of the relatives parties pretending not to like it, but actually having a laugh.
This time around I am up at my sisters in Scotland and not sure what we are going to do yet. I think we will probably end up at the local pub and drink too much, which means I will become one of those idiots I love so much.

I hope everyone has a nice time and try not to be an IDIOT! But if you are try not to be sick on yourself or others :)

  2. Gonna be a quiet night here at my house in Penna. too - daughter working, so Grammy is babysitting the two little ones. I might mix myself a Black Russian to sit and savor at midnight but beyond that, no big celebration. Probably will just be cookies and coffee!

  3. Well, if you do partake, make sure you walk instead of drive. Let the other idiots be the ones to make mistakes.

  8. I had a typical New Year's Eve for me - worked until 11:00 p.m. then came home and played Guitar Hero/Rock Band with the girls until the wee hours of the morning pausing at midnight to say "WHEE"! Yessiree, I know how to live it up, don't I??

Happy New Year and thanks for all of your recent comments you cheeky little bugger!

When are you coming over to be the perfect houseguest??

  9. So Claire - have you recovered sufficiently yet from your New Year's Celebration to tell us all about it? It's 3 p.m. here eastern time now so should be about 8 p.m. your time - you should be fairly well healed up by now from your evening of revelry!
