Good Times Bad Times

Good Times:
Thanks to Facebook my dad has found some relatives in Australia that he had lost touch with many moons ago. So now I have relatives I can go visit in OZ!
Doing this next April The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge Walk, its a long time off at the moment, but time does fly! Really looking forward to this, even though it will probably kill me.
Bad Times:
The mumborg has been recalled once more.
She has gone into Addison's Crisis, due to the pain of constantly dislocating her shoulders, lack of sleep and generally misbehaving. The vomiting bug was the last straw and the doctor was finally called out. Hopefully it will be just a short stay, while they adjust her steroid levels.

Even worse than that, I think I am getting sick! I have a temperature, feel like puking and have a bloody awful headache.

  8. That's too funny, my Scot cousin Stewart just retired from his professional rugby career down in Oz. My Aunt and Uncle just recently took a trip down to visit him, and he's now trying to find work as a civil engineer down there.

    The pics from their vacation are beautiful, but to me, still not as good as the UK!! Then again, I prefer cool weather and tend not to like hot, dry places as I'm as fair-skinned as a Highlander!! LOL

    I hope you feel better soon! Curl up in some blankets and have plenty of chicken noodle soop, that always seems to help...

  9. Aw, I'm so sorry to hear it, Claire. Best wishes to you and the Mumborg. Here's hoping they can get her wiring straight again and Mumborg 2.0 is a more stablized version.

  11. So sorry to hear about your mother. I've rediscovered people on Facebook as well, plus become friends with those who were using my applications.

  14. Jeez...I just read about Addison's Crisis. That's no picnic at the park, for sure.
    It seems that there is a general malaise swarming about in Blogosphere.
    Thanks to our wonderful dry climate and the dust storm that's been blowing about - and the fact that we have Valley Fever spores flying around - my head hurts.
    I hope your gastrointestinal tract straightens itself out! That's a nasty way to feel...
    ~~~Blessings~~~
  15. You don't have time to get sick. Good luck to mumborg. I hope it's just a quickie for her at the hospital.
  16. It's probably just morning sickness. (You, not the mumborg)... after those HOT nights we had in Rhode Island, how could you not conceive a little mo-love-child?
