The grump is over the hump... sort of

I have been a little grumpy the last couple of days(,weeks, months, years)and I have decided that I am over that hump. Hump is a funny word, just say it a few times, hump, hump, humpity hump. Not out loud! You will lose your job/self respect if anyone hears you, sheesh, some people. When your in an emotional slump that is known as a 'hump', that hump in facts seems like a bloody large mountain.

  2. Let that hair dye fry your cells for a moment, and just imagine flying over that hump and taking a leap of faith with it. :)

  3. I think Doodle Claire's boobs have grown larger with joy. Perhaps her hair will change color next?

Glad to hear you're over the humpity-hump. No one likes a grump. Well, in your case, we do, but the non-grump is better.

And yes, I said it out loud, but everyone already thinks I'm strange.

  4. For a somebody with leaves tattooed on her ankles, you sound unseasonably miserable. Of course, I might be wrong. They might not be leaves. I can see now that they bear a striking similarity to Bulgaria's twelve autocratic electoral districts. If they are, I can see why you feel miserable. And if you don't mind my saying so, it was a rather silly thing to have tattooed on your ankles. What happens when they change their system of voting? I bet you hadn't thought of that...

  6. You seem to have hurtled the hump while I have bumped right up next to it. Must have something to do with feeling 'meh' - though tomorrow's blog post is more about 'eh'.

  11. Hump rounds out what can be described as peaks, valleys, plateaus, cycles, ups/downs, etc.

A number of people I know dealing with them use it commonly amongst ourselves, then when talking to people who don't experience them usually have to use the longer rhetoric.

It makes it easier to get to the things you need to relate more at the moment. Hump comes out as one syllable that conveys "I'm going through a cycle at the moment, and this is why or the reason...yada yada yada".

...or so I'm told. Tee hee.

  15. So glad to hear you're on the other side of the hump. I'm right smack dab in the middle of a big, fat hump. I feel like a lump sitting on my hump in the dumps. Ok...terribly not funny. I'm going now.......
