Don't Panic!

I have not taken a turn for the worse, although still feeling rather phlegmy!! For those new to the blog, i have been struck down by the cursed blog flu which has been doing the rounds and has taken many victims. I am feeling a lot better, not brilliant but better!
The Internet is down at my house, since Thursday! I have no idea why, the service provider is aware of the problem but that's all they are giving me (the cheeky buggers!).
So i am blogging from my babysitting gig, the lovely Corynne who is two and from Arizona.
Don't worry she is fast asleep and baby monitors are on (doors open!)
I don't normally do babysitting anymore as i am considered old! but this is a well paid overnight gig. While the little one is sleeping i can catch up on my little world of blog! I have missed all my blog friends, honestly i really have.
So no Friday Feast or Saturday Photo Hunt this week for me.
Thank you for all the well wishes and for those that haven't admitted to missing me, i know you did lol! I am back at my house tomorrow teatime so not sure if i will be able to blog then! so if there is another prolonged absence considered yourselves missed!(also feel sorry for me!)

  1. Feeling really sorry for you; bad enough being ill yourself without having computer problems too. Hope the children behave and see you back on board soon

  8. Of course we miss you. Was wondering what happened to you. I hate when the internet isn't working, it drives me crazy. Hope you are feeling better, this week has been one for sickiness, I'm just starting to feel halfway decent myself.

  11. Claire, being without the Internet is sufficient to require counseling. I do hope you're getting help. :-)

  14. It's nice to know that you didn't take your two new blog awards and just disappear into the sunset on us! I was beginning to get a bit worried, especially when you didn't have a photo up for yesterday's hunt (visions of you falling down a hill on one of your hikes or something equally diabolical drifted through my head!).

My condolences on the flu, there have been several s making the rounds here in the States, too, and I consider myself quite lucky to have avoided them so far. Hopefully they aren't contagious via blog pages!

Best of luck getting your Internet back to where it belongs. If I didn't have mine I swear I'd be going through withdrawal and my daughter would be inconsolable! Sad how much we rely on the electronic web we've all got ourselves tangled up in!

Take good care of yourself and hope you're back in good health soon - I will admit to definitely having missed you!

  17. You have a virus. The machine has a virus. It is an awful germy world. Hope things both animate and inanimate steadily improve.

Thanks for the lead on Morgan's site. I don't know if I'll keep doing the Monday thing, but it was fun.
