Welcome to the wonderful world of Manic Monday! This weeks theme is SUN, what could i have come up with for that?
HMMMM well one thing that popped into the noggin was the the term 'Sunny Side Up'. Now over here a fried egg is a fried egg.
But you folks over the pond have to confuse me!
There should only be the above image as an option, not over hard and over medium!
What else popped into the noggin? This wonderful song, yes for once i have picked a good one!

ReplyDeleteThat's a gaggable egg, that is. I prefer my fried eggs over easy so I can puncture the yolk with my toast. Now that's yummy.

ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right. An egg is an egg boiled or fried. But I like the expression "sunny side up" because it really looks like and it also sounds more romantic than to grumble "both sides fried"

ReplyDeleteTo get eggs right, they got to be just a little crispy around the edges, cooked over a camp fire, fishin poles out, a cup of coffee with ashes in it and the sun just coming up along with a terrific hangover.

I prefer fried eggs sunnyside up, too, instead of over easy. Well, I´m hungry now... I´d like to have a "Strammer Max" - traditional German food: buttered bread, ham and 2 fried eggs sunny side up =)
