Sports Day

I stowed myself away in sisters car after number one nephews sports day (Ewan), in order to get to her house and have a quick blog (hmm sounds wrong).
He won both his races, race 1 sprinting and race 2 obstacle, will post some pictures when i can.
Do over the ponders have sports days for their kids?
I was going to post a wordless wednesday but forgot my camera lead, so now have to think of ways to get here tomorrow.
The bath arrived safely yesterday and it is huge, they are having an awesome bathroom built downstairs. So hopefully more deliveries, which equals reasons for me being here.
Will explain about the room of doom next time.

Got to go.

  1. Claire - here in the US they don't call 'em Soccer Moms for nothin'!!!

In the UK do they call 'em Football Mums? What do they call US Football in Brit-speak, anyway?

Glad to see you in for a quick blog!
    :)
Hope it was good for you!

  2. Sports day...like a school wide thing? They call them field days over this way. Usually it's during the school day instead of classes...and parents don't normally come watch. Least the ones I've had. I always hated them.

  3. Sports day here is called Field Day. Kids get out of classes early to go play field games like soccer, basketball, balloon tosses...it's super fun.

Sometimes, we even had ice cream.

Nothing's as good as a quick blog though. ;)
