I was going to do some gardening today, but the weather is pants! If it clears up soon I may venture out and get my hands dirty. Here is another flower I have photographed and temporarily forgotten the name of. I will have to dig out the labels, well after I remember where I put them.

ReplyDeleteMy Green Thumb photos are shared. Drop by if you can find time.
The weather has been pants here too, I swear this is the summer of the thunderstorm, we've had one probably 6 of the last 7 days every week for the past 4 weeks.
ReplyDeleteThose poor sods at Glastonbury this weekend.
Yay flowers!

ReplyDeleteMine in here Thanks
The weather is pants here today too-again! I have NOTHING to do today either. :( B.O.R.I.N.G
ReplyDeleteGood morning. Just came across your site. Have a good one.
ReplyDeleteYesterday it was pants here. Right now it's beautiful. I don't know what the rest of the day will be like. Hot and humid, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day, my friend!
Weather is in the dumps here too but your colorful flower cheered it up!
ReplyDelete@hootin anni, By the end of the day I will of found out what it is :) Hopefully pop over later :)
ReplyDelete@redbeard, Excellent usage of 'poor sods', its not been too bad for the glastonbury lot from what I can tell watching it on the telly. Have you been able to watch any?
@juliana, Thanks, will hop over later.
@Mags, just write lists of wonderful places to take me :)
@terry banderas, Morning to you too, hope you visit again.
@crazy tisha, Its stopped raining here for now, so I may get some gardening in. Its still pretty glum though. Hope you have a great day too and that you are looking after yourself :)
@kml, This supposed summer is not doing its job at all, I am glad the flower cheered you up :)
Such a beautiful flower - in form and color.
ReplyDeleteMost flowers with this orchid-like shape have evolved to be pollenized by moths. If you look at just the shape, can you see a female moth with her antennas up, waiting for a mate?
Sorry your weather is pants... it rained here before I got up but now it's sunny and breezy.
It's beautiful, but does it bite?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteNever heard the term pants, it must be a UK thing.
ReplyDeleteI'll be thing of you while I'm at the pool :)
You usually garden pantless?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo! Love the purple!
Ok, I have absolutely no idea what that means. The weather is pants? You need to explain for us across the pond. Where did that term come from?
ReplyDeleteCorduroy, or acid wash jeans? :p
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is either but it's a scrummy colour!
ReplyDeleteHi. I was going to comment on your pretty flower and then I read Redbeard's comment and he made me snort snot. Sorry. He can sure talk that shit for an American. "poor sods at Glastonbury". Ah, yes. Gotta love the wannabes. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteJust move over there Redbeard. You know ya wanna.
Ummm...I didn't include the fact that I think Redbeard is really cool and that I wish I could do that. I am starting to get to know him. He can spell, too. So, can you add this to my comment? Heh. :)
ReplyDeleteWow. I just noticed I could be commenter number 18 and win the 20 quid you offered this morning. So here it is:
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is shirts. 100 F and no rain in sight.
You've got my address, right?
I know you're busy. So I'll even answer my comments for you, K?
ReplyDelete@Relax Max: Shurrup.
Gorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteWINGING IT, at Practically at Home
@Mo, Loved your little nature lesson, the weather cheered up a little but too late to do anything.
ReplyDelete@Jamie, I hope not, unless it has already been effected by the pollution in my lovely town :)
@Lana, Cheers! :)
@regretting, Pants has been explained now. Hey no 'thinging' me.
@drowsey, no where did I say what missy? I love the colours of this too :)
@da old man, Pants has been explained :)
@chica, neither! heh :)
@art allsorts, I remembered what it is eventually! But I wonder if anybody will guess?
@relax max, I know that your just jealous of redbeards grasp of Britspeak. He seems to have caught on a lot quicker than you. Oh and you don't qualify for the competition.
:)
@practically at home, Thank you :)
