Pissing Down

  1. Hmmm...that's how it's been most of the summer on my side of the Atlantic, until the past few days, when I've actually been relieved to feel cool raindrops falling down on me...so it goes, I guess...

  3. It's always pissing down in the UK. Or is this figurative speech? Is it raining on your parade?

  4. It's not always pissing down. We've had some lovely weather in Scotland haha!

  5. @Yoga, Hey dude nice to see you about. I should be use to the god awful weather this side of the pond, but it is my British nature to complain about it :) When I was in Philly last September I could not get over how hot it was! So I can see how welcome the rain is.

@Italo, thanks I bet you are having much nicer weather :)

@Lauren, Cheers dude. Oh I love a good thunderstorm and rain when I am in bed, I open the windows to get the full affect. Then it gets cold or too noisy so I have to get out of bed again lol.

@Kate M, Well one usually says it when the rain is lashing down, but it does accurately depict the weather at the mo. It also describes my mood at the moment.

@Alsion, I love ya in a nonsexual never met you kind of way, but SHURRUP!

    Additional Info:

I am working on a post for all the various use of the word 'piss', classy I know.

  7. I saw an episode of HGTV (Home and Garden TV) about a couple of Brits and their three kids, who were buying a "vacation" home in the Dominican Republic. They wanted out of the cooler, rainy weather. They place they bought was beautiful, right near the ocean... Great idea, huh?
